Singing bowls create a range of sounds that are truly profound. They have been used for centuries, particularly for meditation, healing and stress relief. These bowls are are individually hammered by hand, creating a unique look and sound to each one. Available in two sizes – 21cm diameter and 33cm diameter and each singing bowl comes with a striking mallet and a colourful handmade cushion.
They have an amazing deep vibration which resonates throughout your entire body. As you play the bowl all tension and stress begins to fade away and release. Each bowl produces a range of sounds and harmonics. You will hear two very distinct sounds - a deeper tone when you rotate the mallet around the bowl and a higher tone (usually a fourth or fifth above) when striking the bowl.
Every bowl is individually made so the weight and size will vary slightly. This will also result in the sound of each bowl being slightly different. A great investment, singing bowls have the potential to last a lifetime, working as well as they did on the day that you bought them.
