October 5th marked the day for this year’s World CP Day and it was fantastic that The Rhythm Village were able to be part of the celebrations!
The World CP Day concept was developed by an international group of 50 cerebral palsy charities around the world called the World Cerebral Palsy Initiative. The project is part of a broader vision to draw attention to, and address, the concerns of people with cerebral palsy and their families, by leveraging the collective and regional experience of members and their organisations. The lead organisation for WCPD is Cerebral Palsy Alliance in Australia, with support from Cerebral Palsy Association in Alberta – Canada and UCP in the USA.
The Rhythm Village had a fantastic time drumming and singing with the clients and staff at Cerebral Palsy Alliance in St Ives, Sydney. It was great to see so many smiles and so much enjoyment on the day!
